I never know what to write about. I read my daughters blog and it's always full of "interest". Her life is full of newness and adventures. Then I think, why would I even write, I only have 2 followers and they already know all the things I'd write about! LOL I can't write about my job in the Hospital, that's private. :( The kids are either grown up or don't do or say as many cute things anymore. Well, except Caleb. But the things he says that are cute are because he's only 8 and he talks like he's 25! LOL
Things here have been so hectic lately. Getting ready for our big move, working tons of hours, me being sick and the problems we're having with Cirrah. Nothing exciting to write about. So, I guess I'll write about all the uninteresting things in our life right now.
First the move. NEXT WEEK WE GET THE KEYS!!!! But, we have only just started to pack. Now that it's getting closer I'm starting to dred it. I thought it would be easy, but I don't want to do it. The garage is a mess. Things aren't really in boxes there, or I should say as orgnaized as I'd like them to be. We've been in this house for 6 months and there are still things sitting there that need to be taken to the dump and to Goodwill. Besides, the house we're in now is so small that packing boxes will be a problem. There will be no where to store them. So I'm waiting until next week so we can bring everything over to the new house right away. I want to spend a couple days deep cleaning it first. Then I'd like to be able to paint at least the kids rooms. I'd like to be able to paint everything, but we'll see how that goes. We are very excited to be in the new house and FINALLY start over! Our new beginning!
Cirrah has been going through a tough time lately. We're really not sure what to make of it. She has always loved school. Well, not her first year of preschool, but since then she has! She LOVES school! Before Christmas she got sick. She was at school and had an accident there. Then after that she kept making up reasons to stay home. At first I believed that she was sick. But then after awhile she was making up that she was sick and couldn't go to school. She would cry and fuss about going. I believe she really did have stomach aches, but she was so upset that she was making herself sick. Now lately, for the past couple weeks, she has made it nearly impossible to go to school. If we were able to get her to school, she would literally scream! She would cry, scream, bargin and even run up & down the halls screaming! We would have no choice but to bring her home. One day she started even before we left the house. Sean called the Principal and he said, she just couldn't come to school like that. She was beginning to scare the other kids. We did everything we could think of to get her to go, bribing her even! She did finally go on Friday! PHEW! I'm thinking she's over stimulated. She's in a big class, 31 kids. In the morning it's real loud and chaotic. I think it's too much for her. They are all together for parts of the day and split in half for other parts. I think the switching is too much for her. Too much going on for her at those times. Even though she has done this the whole school year. But, there are no rules in Autism. What worked before doesn't always work later. I think it's time we get outside help.
When Cirrah was first diagnosed with Autism we had a Physchologist to help us. We had no idea what to do then. After awhile, we figured that this was something we could handle ourselves with alittle "thinking it through" and trial and error. Now we are at a point where we don't kow what to do anymore. So talking to a Physchologist is a good idea again. It's just finding the right one that is goining to be hard. We don't have that kind of time. I wish there was like a HOTLINE you could call with immediate help. Like, "We are having this problem right now, what should we do?" That sure would be nice.
Well, for not having anything to write, I sure wrote ALOT!

"Pinning" Our New Home Ideas
Awhile ago my daughter Chelsea introduced me to Pinterest. In case you don't know about it, it's an online bullentin board of ideas, crafts, fashion, food, you name it! IT'S VERY ADDICTING!! I go on it everyday and "PIN" things to my boards that I hope to one day actually do!
With our new move coming Chelsea suggested I start "pinning" decorating ideas. That was a GREAT idea! Our new house has such AMAZING charater! With it being built in 1910 it has that old charm that we love so much! Both mine and Sean thoughts were, "It will make a GREAT GOOD LUCK CHARLIE house"!! Good Luck Charlie is one of our favorite shows and it's on Disney. Soooo, we are on a mission to have a house TOTALLY different in style than we've ever had. A house FULL of color...BRIGHT color!
Here are some ideas I've found so far...
TOTALLY doing this for the kitchen set! I would like to paint the kitchen walls yellow, not as bright at that chair but yellow. Then have a white table with maybe teal, coral, blue and maybe lilacish chairs.

I LOVE this idea and how simple! Just an old dresser painted (in this color too) and add the hardware to it! TADA!
I don't know if I'll actually do this but ...FUN!!!!
I LOVE the color of this wall! I'm really thinking about doing this!
I want something like this in the kitchen as well!
Cylie LOVES this idea of the Christmas lights in her room!! We are also thinking of making a Calkboard in a picture frame! She wants to do her room in Zebra print with turquoise and a dark raspberry like the dresser in the picture below.
FOREVER Sean & I have had the same gold quilt on our bed. Although it's very beautiful, it's not COLOR! I was thinking maybe something like this...
Not too overwelming for Sean but still has color. :)
And of course, Good Luck Charlie has the picture walls!!!
I would also LOVE something similar to these for the mudroom...
FUN FUN FUN IDEAS!!!
Can't wait to start! Hopefully Chelsea can make it home to help with all these projects!! And the 100's more I'm sure we will find!!
WE ARE SOOOOO EXCITED FOR OUR NEW HOPEFULLY FOREVER HOME!!!

New House...New Adventures
We have had a challenging few years. We have moved 3 times in 3 years. Looks like we will be moving AGAIN!! WEARE SOOOOO EXCITED!!! But, we weren't planning on this move though. One day last week at work, I was looking through craigslist at houses, which I randomly will do. I came across a house for rent that had been for rent in the Fall. I had called about it then but by the time we were ready to look at it, it had been rented already. We did drive past it though and REALLY liked it! I told Sean that it was for rent again and that I was going to call about it. Saturday morning the owner called and we set up a showing fo today. I was soooo excited!
This afternoon we got ready to go. I threatened the kids to be on their BEST behavior!! LOL Sean had forgotten where it was and what it looked like. I didn't forget! It was just as BEAUTIFUL as I remembered!! The owner just happened to be a member from our church! His grand daughter is is Caleb's class. In fact in kindergarten she had a big crush on Caleb and he had a crush on her as well! :) Sean fell in love right away! As we walked into the backyard we saw how HUGE it was! There are apple trees, a cherry tree, raspberry & mulberry bushes, a garden, basketball hoops, a fire pit, and a REAL TREE HOUSE! The yard is big enough to play soccer and a good game of football in! It has a couple of buildings that use to be a chicken coop and an outhouse! LOL
Walking into the house from the back we walked into the mudroom. Nice big windows and perfect for getting all those winter clothes off before coming into the house. From there you walk into the nice big kitchen. Alot of cabinets! There is a full bath off of the kitchen. Walking further into the house is the diningroom that connects to the livingroom and what we will use as the office. The house was built in the 1910 era! It has AMAZING charater!! From the living room is the front door. There is a huge porch with a porch swing! OMG I'M SOOOO IN LOVE WITH THIS HOUSE! Upstairs are all 4 bedrooms and another full bathroom. The bathtub is the claw foot kind!! The basement is finished and Sean can finally have his rec room!!
The owner called us tonight and told us we could have it! So as of February 1st we can start moving in. We have until April to move out of here though. Unless he finds someone to rent it for March. I want to paint the new house before we move in. I'm alittle upset about all my plants though. I have transplanted them from each time we moved. Some are very special to me. I don't know how I can dig them up in March to plant at the new house. :( Anyone having any suggestions???
We are very happy with this sudden decision to move. We feel so at peace with it! We can see ourselves in this home for a long time!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
My daughter Chelsea suggested I start a blog quite awhile ago. I really love reading hers! I thought it was a GREAT idea for me as well. It has taken me a LONG time to begin. I think I was intimidated by it all. No, I know I was. How do I write? How do I post pictures? How does this and that happen? What will I call it? What will I write about? Well, with the New Year here and the beginning of all that is new, I decided now was a good time to start my blog. I don't know how to do it, or how it will look once I hit that button to post this. But, I'll figure it out as I go!
2011 was quite a year! One that had some amazing memories. Some good and some not so good. The year began with our Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl! That was sooo amazing! Especially for my husband Sean who is a HUGE Packer fan!
In March our oldest son Cody turned 21. WOW! I have a son who is 21! I took a picture of him holding up the outfit he wore home from the hospital when he was born. He was 4 weeks early, weighed 5# 8oz and 19". He is now 6' 4"!! Where'd my baby boy go? I'm proud of the man he has become. He has a job he loves. A house he shares with his cousin and a good friend. He's a good responsible man. I'm very proud of him!
In April our oldest daughter Chelsea turned 23! That is a HUGE WOW!! I can't believe I have a child who is 23! I am also very proud of Chelsea. She moved to Florida when she was 20 to follow her dream to dance! She worked for Disney World for a year. There is where she met Matt, her Prince Charming. After a short stay in Wisconsin, they packed it up and moved to Seattle where Matt is from. Matt is a Recruiter for companys like MicroSoft and Amazon. We are VERY happy that Chelsea chose such a wondeful man to share her life!! After Being a Nanny for awhile she took a chance and again followed her dreams! She opened her own Dance Program! Today she is the owner of Emerald City Dance. In her first year she has taught over 500 different children dance!
In May our daughter Cylie turned 11. This was hard. :( She is growing up wayyyyy too fast! It's freaking us out! She's a good kid! She had a bad couple of months at the end of 2010 with Migraines. She was in and out of the hospital with them. The year 2011 was better as far as the Migraines went. She did have a very difficult year with being Bullied though. Cy is a VERY athletic girl...VERY FAST! She wouldn't go out for sports though because the boy who was the Leader of the Bullying was also in all thoses same sports she loved. :( We fought through the year with help from the school and the boys parents. Only the bullying got worse, it carried over to the other kids in her class. Cylie is a fun loving, carefree, fashion talented, sweet, BEAUTIFUL tween.
June was a fun month! Our Niece Kaylin graduated from High School. At her graduation party we surprised her with Chelsea being home! Also surprised my Mom! Neither of them knew Chelsea was going to be home! Kaylin and Chelsea has always been so close! Kaylin is Chelsea's Maid of Honor. :)
In July my sister in law Cyndie, my cousin Debi who is Chelsea's God Mother & I gave her a Bridal Shower! Not only do I have children who are adults, now one of them is getting married!!! It was a bittersweet feeling. I was so happy for her! She looked so beautiful and glowed! When Chelsea flew back to Seattle after the shower, Cylie went with her! Cylie was able to spend the rest of her Summer vacation with Chelsea and Matt in Seattle! She had a GREAT time!
One September 2, 2011 our daughter married her Prince Charming, Matt! It was one of the happiest days of my life! I literally have NEVER seen a more beautiful bride! She was absolutely stunning!
To hear them exchange their vows and see the pure happiness on thier faces was priceless!!
This day was by far the best thing that has happened to our family in a long time! We love Matt alot! He's a good man and treats our daughter perfectly! A Father & Mother couldn't ask for more. We really like his family alot as well!! It's nice to be a HUGE blended family!!
This Fall was filled with change. We moved into a smaller house. It's a tight fit but it'll work for now. I started a new job. I LOVE it very much! Caring for people is something I've always loved doing. Being in the ER is a very exciting and challenging job, but I love it soooo much! In November the bullying got to be too much and couldn't be taken care of. So made the difficult decision to move Cylie to the public school. We are very comfortable with the decision! She is doing GREAT! She has TONS of friends, getting good grades and back to "CYLIE" again!
So, as long as that was, that was our year! I promise the next blog posts won't be this long. Well, I'll try! With the New Year here I hope that all of you have the BEST year you can. I pray that God blesses you.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! WELCOME 2012!!!
2011 was quite a year! One that had some amazing memories. Some good and some not so good. The year began with our Green Bay Packers winning the Super Bowl! That was sooo amazing! Especially for my husband Sean who is a HUGE Packer fan!
In February Sean entered us in a contest with the Milwaukee Bucks. He didn't tell me he did. He had to submit a letter telling them why he loved me. The winner of this contest would win a $10,000 Diamond Ring! Well, we were one of the 3 couples chosen out of 1000's of enterants! On Valentine's Day we went to The Buck's game. We were sitting at court side before the game started. We got to watch the players practice. We also met the other 2 couples. One of the couples was younger. It appeared that she may be recovering from cancer. They didn't have the money for a wedding but would love to one day. The other couple was again younger than us. The wife had served in Iraq a couple years ago while her husband took care of their 2 young boys. Both couple were really nice. We had a GREAT night! We were told that several times during the game we would be brought out onto the court to do various things. One time we were just introduced. One time we played a "newlywed" type game. At another time we went out and the crowd got to text in what they wanted us to do at half time... "share our story", "romatic kiss" or "dance"! Well, anyone who knows my Husband, he was PRAYING that we would dance! Before the 3rd quarter we were told the crowd voted we had to dance! YES!!!!! Throughout the night they would bring the ring out and show us, "TEASE" us with it! It was a beautiful heart shaped center stone with 6 diamonds on either side of it. So at the 3rd quarter we had to go out and DANCE FOR THAT RING! Anytime Sean & I were out on the court, we were center court! Always! So the song started and Sean danced his BUTT off! The younger couple had no idea how to dance and just hopped around. The other couple tried to tango for some reason. Sean & I just went out there and HAD FUN! The whole night was fun! Then the crown had to text in which couple they wanted to win, #1, #2 who was us or #3. When there was 2 minutes left in the game they called us couple out again. The owner of the jewelry store walked back and forth in front of us with the ring while the announcer talked. Then the owner STOPPED IN FRONT OF US and handed Sean the ring! WE WON!!! Sean placed it on my finger infront of all those people. Sean's old boss happened to be there and taped the dance and the win with his cell phone!

Also in July Cirrah turned 9! WOW AGAIN! I can't believe our youngest daughter is 9. :( Cirrah is AMAZING! She has Autism. She is NOT Autistic. Autistic is not what she is, it's what she has. She is Smart Atletic Brave BEAUTIFUL Sweet KindHearted Sensitive Funny Kind and EVERYTHING ELSE!!! Her smile will steal your heart!
At the end of August our family flew to Seattle to get ready for the big day! MATT & CHELSEA'S WEDDING! We flew in a few days early to visit and settle in before the wedding. Two our past forgein exchange students also flew in for their SISTER'S wedding! Jan from Germany, who was our first student and Renato from Brasil, who was our 3rd. Renato also brought his girlfriend Dani, who later in thier trip became his FIANCE!
One September 2, 2011 our daughter married her Prince Charming, Matt! It was one of the happiest days of my life! I literally have NEVER seen a more beautiful bride! She was absolutely stunning!
The wedding was PERFECT!! It was exactly as she had dreamt it would be! It was so sweet to see Matt crying as she walked down the aisle. As happy as Sean was that our daughter was marrying a GREAT man, it was difficult to let her go.
Also in September Our youngest son, the baby of the family, Caleb turned 8. OMG I can't do this anymore, these kids are getting too big! Growing too much! I've asked each and every one of them all through their childhood to promise me they would never grow up... Caleb is so much a BOY!! He is so SMART! Very advanced! He LOVES sports and is so good at them! As tough as he is, he is also sweet, gentle, caring and sensitive. He LOVES to snuggle! He has to touch you all the time! :)
On September 27th Sean & I celebrated our 25th Anniversary! What an incredible feeling knowing I have been married to him for 25 years! He has been the BEST husband, BEST father, BEST friend I could ever have asked for...hoped for! I can't wait to see what the next 25 years will bring together!
This Fall was filled with change. We moved into a smaller house. It's a tight fit but it'll work for now. I started a new job. I LOVE it very much!
